Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, we're not done yet! All we had to do today was hear closing arguments, get instructions from the judge, and deliberate. And we didn't get to start deliberating until past 2 p.m. One of the jurors had to leave at 4:30, and we weren't quite through having some of the testimony re-read, so we gotta go back tomorrow. We're very close to arriving at a decision--I think everybody knows what the verdict will be, but one guy wants to hear this testimony again. But at least I know now that it's not likely that we're going to be arguing back and forth for days and days; I was really worried about that, especially because we hadn't been able to talk about the case and I had no idea what the other jurors were thinking. But fuck yah, I'll be glad to get this motherhoosier over with; it's been interesting, but it's a fairly disruptive thing to go through. Including jury selection, this'll make eight days!
