I think the best word that I remember from childhood is "flickded." That's how I like to spell it, anyway. In the fourth grade, I didn't know that it was supposed to be "'flicted," as in "afflicted." I didn't know where it came from, just that it meant "weird" or something like it, and it sounded like it should be spelled "flickded."

Flickded. Boy ya flickded, boy ya flickded.

Hmm...I always heard it as "deflickted". Maybe I was sticking the D in there somewhere?

HAHA! I never heard it with the "de-", but I dig it. I'm gonna start using that. :)
