Gah! I know--I'd never really thought anything about it until today, when I was overcome with its insidiousness. And I'd always figured it was from the mid-'70s or so, but it turns out that it's from like 1963. So it's not just suck, it's ahead-of-its-time suck!

No way I could get away with speakers--we're in one big, open room, and there's at least one woman who would strangle me to death if she heard Accept blaring, even though she's the one who spits out expletives about every twenty minutes for all to hear.

I think my mother was listening to some even more gawd awful remake that some other crappy band did of the song during the early to mid 1990's. And to think this was the same woman who introduced me to Ugly Kid Joe at age 8...
