wickedfleaI want to sleep for about a year and a half. Wouldn't that be wonderful? A Huge waste of time, yes, but all the same . . . wonderful.
These things do not go together:
Good lord. There's a woman up in here wearing those weird jeans that come to the knee and have the little triangles cut out at the seams. With a vest coat.

dob recommended a while back that I should check out the BBC sitcom Bottom, which starred Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson (Rick and Vyvyan from The Young Ones). Finally I have, and it's my new obsession. I was watching it when I was making jambalaya last night. I was chopping onions and doing just fine. But then Eddie Hitler got all hopped up on pheromones and told the woman at the bar: "HAVE ME. Have me--I'm a love albatross!" I completely lost it. All of a sudden I realized that I was standing alone in my kitchen shaking a chef's knife in the air and saying "YES!" as my knees buckled from laughter. I kind of scared myself.
Happy birthday to the notoriouscynical5679! Hmmmm. It occurs to me that I'm really bad about giving birthday greetings. So happy birthday to everyone else who's had a birthday in the last year or so! Drink up, suckers.
