Piece of string goes into a bar. Bartender says, "We don't serve your kind here." String leaves, goes outside and wriggles around in the alley, does some stuff, twists self into a handsome double hitch, then does a quick fluff on the ends before reentering the bar.

Bartender leans over the bar. "Hey! Aren't you that piece of string I just kicked out?"
