wickedfleaahhh... another week finished. It is really nice having Fridays off this semester.
I'm still waiting on my Strat to be finished getting set up... they're going to put new tuners on it, and they haven't come in yet. Three weeks and counting. Grrrrr. I'm also waiting for two guitars that I bought on Ebay to come in. I have no idea where this sudden guitar-fixing-and-acquiring frenzy has come from, but I hope it ends soon, 'cuz now I'm broke as shit.
I've noticed that I have really dark circles under my eyes lately, and I don't know why. I've been getting a pretty good amount of sleep lately; in fact, I've been sleeping really well this week -- waking up saying, "DAMN, that was some good sleep." Maybe it's a shock to the system or something...
Speaking of sleep, I was just thinking about how they (the "they" who say everything) say that a person only dreams in REM sleep, which only happens after 3-4 hours of sleep. I say bullshit, because I have some of my craziest, most vivid dreams when I take naps (2 hours or so). So, um, yeah.

Date: 2001-03-02 10:18 am (UTC)Are you having a local shop set up your strat? Mine is worn to hell, and has (for all practical purposes) been replaced with a Carvin. It arrived, contrary to my expectations, set up perfectly. Lovely toy, it.
And that REM dreaming shit is, well, shit. I almost never sleep for more than 2-3 hours at a time, and I dream constantly.

I guess I should have ordered the tuners myself, gotten them in a couple of days, taken them down there, and said, "Here, put 'em on." I'm sure I could have put 'em on myself, but I figured since they were setting it up anyway, I'd let them do it. It'll be the first real setup it's had since I've owned it.
