Over a year here, and I have yet to figure out the LiveJournal time scheme. I know the servers are based in Seattle, but I still think LJ runs on Freak Time.

From what I can tell, mine seems to run on Pacific Time.

Yeah, it's just weird -- at 2:30 eastern, I updated from the web page, and it showed up as 10:30, which would be an hour earlier than pacific (I think). Then there's the whole question of how posts on the friends page are ordered. And then, of course, the notion that time is a man-made construction on which we've placed entirely too much reliance, thereby skewing our entire perspective on life, the universe, and everything . . .
