Thank dog it's Friday. Or, wait -- it's not Friday. It's better than Friday -- it's Friday on a Thursday!

A few of us went for wings today. Always nice to break up the day with a long lunch. I've still had a pretty productive day, though -- which is good, because I've felt like I've been treading water all week. Working with so many deadlines for so many books, I'm always in one of three states: 1) I'm way behind on everything and I'm afraid that people are going to start hounding me for stuff at any time; b) I have a lot of things that I have time to do, but can't because they're waiting for action by other people; or iii) (all too rarely) I'm kicking ass and have things well taken care of. I don't know which state I'm in right now. I'm just eager for the weekend to start.

I'm not sure what I'll do this weekend. I need to do a lot more housecleaning, though I did get a decent start last night. Got the dishwasher emptied, the garbage taken out, and the clothes off the floor, anyway. I'd like to get a handle on my CD situation and get my trade list updated. I'd also like to take a drive over to NY and/or NJ and get some pictures of the towers of light, but I'm not real sure where to go. Might put that off 'til next weekend, but I'll have to do it then if I do it at all, because I think they're only up until April 11.

Oh, and of course I have to rock the funky beats.
