Oh man, it's every day since I've had him, several times a day. This little fucker eats like a madman and poos like twelve of 'em. It's madness. And I feed him dry food! I always heard the canned stuff was supposed to be worse for that, and I can't even IMAGINE if I had him on it.
Oh yes, wet food can make for very, uhm, interesting bombs. Are you feeding him really good dry food? Sometimes the cheap stuff can recreate all sorts of lovely odorous packages.
I'm feeding him Purina Adult (which sounds kinda dirty). I never really paid much attention to how much it costs, but I was just looking online, and it seems like it's cheap stuff. When I first got him, I was giving him Hill's Science Diet, which came as a Free Added Bonus from the shelter. I guess that's pretty expensive stuff, but as I remember, his bombs were even WORSE then. I dunno. Maybe I'll start trying some different foods--he didn't seem to have a problem switching from Hill's to Purina.
Yeah, Purina isn't very good. It's cheap crap, kinda like fast food for cats. If Science Diet is making him stinky/ier, then maybe try Iams. Sure the stuff is more expensive, but he (more than likely) won't consume as much because it'll fill him up faster.
And if that doesn't work...well, then I guess you're shit outta luck!
Bogie drops a massive bomb every time his litter box is changed. It's like he stores these WMD in some butt storage pocket. I don't get how he ALWAYS has one ready to drop.
LOLOLOL, butt storage packet! Lonzie does the same thing. I dunno how he does it. Sometimes I'll notice he's just gone, and I think, hey, now would be a good time to change it. So I do, and of course in ten minutes he's going again. I think he's taking laxatives like all the anorexic hepcats. :(
