My ears have been stopped up for days, and it's driving me bats. I keep trying to pop them, but it ain't working. You know how just before your ears pop, your hearing gets all weird and things echo through your entire head? Yeah, it's been like that for most of the week. It's weird--I feel OK otherwise. I think I'm gonna take a vacuum cleaner to my ear.

For you MSU/Starkville folks (all three or four of you), here's a kinda fun MSU 12 Days of Christmas thingie.

Speaking of Starkville, I'm a-goin' thar tonight to decorate my grammaw's crimmus tree. Will probably come back tomorrow. I still have way too much to do before next Friday, especially at work. I might even (shudder to think) come in and do some stuff this weekend.

One good thing is that the press is closed from the 22nd through the 2nd. When I was in CT, we were open for those days between Christmas and New Year's, so I had to take vacation time for that. Worse, I always had to make sure all my work stuff was filed and in the right place so people could find it. But ain't nobody gonna be here, so I ain't gotta worry about that.

you might have impacted earwax! if you do, go to the doctor and they'll get it out with a douche of water and peroxide and big GLOBS of grossness will come out of your ear.

Whoa, at lunch I went and got one of those wax removal kits from the drug store, and it worked! I didn't really see any grossness come out, but something must have come loose. I may go to the doctor when I have more time and get 'em checked out freal, but MAN, I feel better. =)

but be careful...sometimes if you don't get the gunk all the way out out, water or whatever can get trapped in back of the glob of grossness and will get all bodytemperaturewarm and soupy and make a swimming pool for all sorts of bacteria!

aren't ears wonderful?

i have a very narrow ear canal on teh left side of my head and have to irrigate often because of stuff getting impacted in there. i like to let it go awhile so when i do it, i get to see more goop.

you know, i can't believe i'm letting you know this about me. but man, you have no idea how many times i've wanted to take a picture of what has come out of my ear and post it to eljay...but paul wouldn't let me. >.<
