I feel for y'all poor folks what got the cold weather these days. Really I do. Would it help if I told you that it's 67 degrees here and I turned on the car a/c when I went out at lunch today?

I got a dam haircut today. I hate 'em like poison. But I hadn't had one since October, so I was pretty fuggin' shaggy. There for a while I was doing pretty well with keeping it cut, but I went delinquent again.

Gotta love the way a haircut makes the gray hairs show up like whoa.

You know that guy Olaf in Clerks? The cat who sings the "Berserker" tune. I actually knew a European metal dude like that. Kid lived next door to me when I was 20 or so--a Swedish dude named Olaf who looked like Axl Rose, right down to the bandana. I used to see him around at parties and shows, and he was always blasted out of his mind. One night he thanked me profusely for giving him a ride home the night before--which, of course, I hadn't. I didn't even own a car. But he wouldn't believe me, and he seemed hurt that I was denying it. Fuckin' Olaf.

Yeah, I figured as much. But I can deal with that. The brief stretches of somewhat cold weather here don't get me down because I know we'll get a break soon enough. As long as I don't have to be trudging through snow for six months in a stretch, I'm good. :D
