I'm thinking about going to see that Samuel L. Jackson movie where he's got Christina Ricci chained up. What the hell's wrong with me?

Hahaha, I know! I saw a preview for it months ago and thought WHOA. It looks like it should be full-on Samuel L. to the max.

Ok so last Friday we go out to dinner with my parents and my mom's best friend. My mom and her best friend start to talk about Black Snake Moan. Both Scott and I almost spit spaghetti across the table laughing because apparenntly they've seen the watered down trailer (the one they don't show back to back with the "Grindhouse" trailer). They made it sound like an Oprah show---where some wonderful older man sets a young girl straight and teaches her about love. Scott lets them go on for a while and then politely tells them that for most of the movie Samuel L. has a half nekkid Christina Ricci chained up in his house---they look horrified. I punctuate this by louding yelling that the "black snake" in the movie is in fact a trouser snake-----at that point the whole Italian restaurant falls silent---well maybe just our table but the best part was that at that moment my father who was oblivious to this whole conversation suddenly perks up and becomes quite interested in seeing this flick.

Good idea--I'll save it for then! All I know about it is that Samuel L. is supposed to be healing Christina Ricci of her evil ways by keeping her ass chained up. It might be really bad, but at least we can crack on it together. :D
