wickedfleaIt's flippin' beautiful outside today. Yesterday it looked like the world was coming to an end, and now it's all blue skies and butterflies.
It was funny to watch the people in my apartment complex during the storm yesterday. Everybody kept coming out on their patios and balconies to watch, and most of them were drinking beer. And when it started hailing, people went out to pick up pieces. And yes, I did too. That's weird, dude--ICE falling from the sky when it's 70 degrees out.
The only thing that really scared me was the lightning. I was standing on the patio waving to my neighbor, and WHAM, this huge bolt of lightning came down a few hundred yards away and froke the shit out of us. It looked like the sky had ripped open, and the lightning bolt turned red and blue, all freaky like.
