Yeah, that was right after I got him. A couple of days before, I had put some catnip in a sock and let him play with it, and he went bananas. After that, for a long time he thought all socks were enchanted. =D
My kitty Harpo used to hide my dirty socks behind a curtian in the dining room area. Well, dirty socks and loaves of bread. We couldn't leave either out because we'd hear a 'kush kush' noise and know Harpo was dragging yet another loaf across the floor, with his mouth.
For a while I thought I was going mad because all my socks were disappearing right after I took 'em off.
Harpo rarely meowed, and when he did it was all faint and sad and pathetic. His name was fitting!
I miss him. He ruuuuuled. What a sweetie. Too bad he died shortly after moving to Brooklyn. Wah. Not.Gonna.Think.About.Harpo.Kitty.
(although when he a kitten, he did jump into the fridge, and the door was shut behind him - OF COURSE not on purpose. He was in there about twenty minutes before my roommate noticed. !!!!)
