Cripes, it looks like I owe Mississippi $20. How can I owe them money? I made $3700 there last year, WTF? Maybe I did something wrong.

Ugh. I was just patting myself on the back for finally finishing my federal taxes. I didn't even THINK about my state ones though. Damn you to hell and back for reminding me! Grrr.

Then again, I might just skip them altogether.

ha ... well, I didn't even bother with doing the long form so I can get my credit, because with state taxes, it doesn't make much difference. So I was able to fill out the EZ form in like two minutes. Woo!

That is pretty strange. You shouldn't owe anything. Maybe there wasn't enough tax taken out of your paycheck?
