More goatness at the Brooklyn Book Fair! We went to see Thurston Moore and Ian MacKaye talk about independent book and music publishing, but we got fucked out of tickets by The Man. :(



Mieskuoro Huutajat (Men's Choir Shouters) performing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at MoMA yesterday. It skurred the fuck outta me.

oh man! how was the book fair? i went last year and it was GREAT - tons of unknown authors reading from their books, the dictionary and spelling bee contests, the poetry readings, all the vendors...twas my heaven but i couldnt make it this year.

Honestly, we didn't end up getting to check out anything but the vendor booths! We didn't get there till mid-afternoon, and when we struck out on tickets for two things we wanted to see, we were kinda discouraged. But we've agreed that next year we'll go early and be ready to fight some motherfuckers. :D
