Aug. 18th, 2002 08:58 pmI'm now downloading what must be every episode ever made of Beavis and Butt-Head. You can find anything and everything on usenet; you people relying on file-sharing programs are suckers.
I slept for about twelve hours last night and woke up feeling better than I have in a week or so. I'm still congested and coughing, but I think I've finally turned the corner and started coming around toward normalcy.
The book that I decided last night to write (yeah, I was serious about that) still seems like a good idea today, so now the only thing to do is to do it. It's gonna be awesome. But I can't talk about it -- I don't want to fuck up the process.

Aug. 18th, 2002 10:42 pmI just got a serious case of deja vu when I saw the cnn.com headline "How Saddam Plans to Thwart Bush." It sort of seems like I saw headlines like that about, oh, eleven or twelve years ago. Oh yeah, I guess that's because I did.
