Haha! It screws me up sometimes too, especially if I make the mistake of thinking about it before I say it. :)
And I'd forgotten about "draw." When I moved into my apartment, I sent my property manager a list of stuff that needed to be fixed. So she called me back to tell me when someone would be in to fix the draws in the kitchen. It took me a minute even to know what she was talking about. :)
The "dawg" thing sounds Southern, though! Seems like I've heard someone talk about how a Southerner can make a one-syllable word like "dog" into about eight syllables. :) "Dahhg" sounds weird to me.
