So Kate, my dear, what's gonna happen on Friday? I need specific orders or I might end up aiming the newly decorated pimpvan at a rib shack in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. And if you try and stop me--IF YOU TRY AND STOP ME--you're going down. You're all going down.

OK, sorry, that was unnecessary.

You will receive further instruction shortly.
If you make for the border we (the Picnic Committee) will hunt you down like a rogue cow.
Is that clear?

Truant cow. Nice try, though. OK, OK, I'll behave--but only because I fear the wrath of you drunken musketeers. Northern aggression, indeed.

I believe "Northern Aggression" is synonymous for "sour grapes."

Miss. State - is it worth my time?

Kind of a general question, but overall was it a good experience? I might look into that school.

Thanks.

Yeah, overall it was. A lot depends on what department you're looking at. I was in English and communication, and while MSU isn't really a liberal-artsy school, it wasn't bad for that. It's a good English department--strong in your tried-and-true classics type stuff, not so much into the newest, wackier theories. Communication--eh. Getting better, but I would look elsewhere if that's all I wanted to study. Engineering programs are supposed to be good, but of course I don't know a lot about that. What kind of major are you thinking about?

I think I'm looking for a liberal artsy kinda place.. but then again they're all so damn TINY! I think I want to do something with English, not quite sure what though.

I can't believe I'm saying this (I hate the Rebels), but Ole Miss might be an option. Medium sized, good college atmosphere, fun downtown right by campus.

Indeed. I'm so desperate for ribs I'm thinking about trying one of the couple BBQ places around here. But I'm pretty dubious of Connecticut BBQ.

86 degrees. HAHA!

Babe, it's 102 here in Arizona and it's only 10:45 a.m. I'll trade weather with you anyday.

I miss having some humidity in the air. Thank the gods I go back home (Chicago) in August. I might miss my flight back to Hell on purpose. ;)

I know, 86 is NOTHING. (It was up over 90 a little while ago, though.) It's amazing how warm it seems to me, though, and I'm from Mississippi! I'm used to humidity and 100-degree weather day after day after day in the summer, but I think two New England winters have sucked the gonads right out of me. But I'm so glad to see warm weather I don't know what to do--I hate the cold!

What about the Sons of Northern Darkness? They always get left out.

Funny, I was thinking about The Descendents song, "Sour Grapes".
