OK, here's a situation. A car cuts you off in traffic or does something equally dangerous. You notice that the car has a handicapped sticker on it. Do you think, "Yeah, no fucking wonder"? I do. It might not be a very nice thought, but I can't help it.

(No fucking wonder that they're handicapped, I mean--yanno, like they've probably been in terrible wrecks before? Yeah.)

Thank the gods. I always wondered if it was just me.

I've been known to yell (sometimes at a light sitting next to them after they've pulled whatever their bonehead move was) "Do you drive like an ASSHOLE because you're a cripple, or are you a cripple because YOU DRIVE LIKE AN ASSHOLE!!!?"

Yes, I use the word "cripple" without apology or guilt. There's enough figurative blood on my hands that I don't bother to feel guilty about not being PC.

Right on, brother. I think I'll have to start using that line! Except I'll probably make a sign to wave at offenders instead; I'm afflicted and would never be able to make my way through the whole thing without stuttering.
