YEp---Jumped the shark---I'd say those are my feelings. I suppose it is the inevitable nature of anything successful--it can't sustain that success forever. I sometimes yearn for the good old days of only 10,000 users.

I don't know which is sicker. That the community exists or that I read the whole damn thing AND visited her journal and read the comments on the posts that haven't been made friends only. I was horrified the whole time with their behavior and the fact that I couldn't stop reading.

I have the same dilemma with this. It reminds me of the time there was some case where a daughter beat her child while being filmed by a security camera, and cnn.com had a link to the video that could only be accessed if you paid for their super-extra all-access. I clicked on it and got the "sign up now" deal and thought, "Hey, wait, that's sick, man! Ermmmmm, wait . . ."
