I'm pretty sure I bought Ace Frehley's KISS solo album the day it came out in '78. And almost thirty years later (!), every time I put on a CD or mp3 version of that album, I still find myself expecting it to skip in the same places that my vinyl record did.

I miss the big cover art of LPs and the concept of an album having two sides. Like, you know, an album could have different feels for each side. You don't get that with a CD.

But I don't miss cassettes a bit. I spent almost every dime I had on cassettes from like grades 8-12, and they're all fucked up and I don't even have cool covers to look at. :(
