That was in New Haven a few days before I left. I'm retiring from that kind of nonsense, though, so you fellow drivers don't have to worry. Or not. ;)
So yeah. I have no idea whatsoever what day it is. Mom and I spent three nights in NYC, stayed somewhere in VA on the way down, and hit her place in Chattanooga Saturday night. I stayed two nights there and came to visit the Mississippi folks last night. I'll stay here at Grandmother's tonight and tomorrow before heading out early Thursday morning to get my keys and meet the movers at my new place in Tuscaloosa (Northport, actually).
I'm breathing so much easier already--I swear I missed home so much. Now it's like I'm being released into this wonderland of good food, fine women, warm temperatures, and people I understand. I know the south's not for everyone, but it is for me. Where else could I get Grandmother's pound cake?

And where else could I get wholesale Bibles at 99 cents a pound?

Lots more pictures to come sometime in the next . . . few periods of time. Whenever I get enough time and am not on dialuip.
