I hate computers. Windows shit the bed on the desktop last night, and this laptop sounds like a goat being eviscerated with a chainsaw. That ain't right.

I think you picked it up at Yale. I never heard it until I moved up Nawth.

I love that second definition on the Urban Dictionary, though, I had not put two and two together and equated shitting the bed with actual death, though as a nurse I probably should have ;-D

Hope it's not your hard drive but just Windows being wonky, as it is wont to do. I'd try reformatting and reloading, and skipping the updates.
